Its 10 branches cover a large area from Northumberland down to South Yorkshire.
The current fleet of 45 vehicles includes crane off-loading vehicles, sprinter vans and flatbed vehicles, and is capable of delivering 500 tonnes of material first load every day. with most averageing 3 loads per day. The company has also achieved silver accreditation in the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS), and all vehicles are Euro 6 compliant. James Hargreaves is the UK’s largest independent plumbers merchants, with 73 plumbing supplies branches across the country that provide plumbing, heating, and bathroom products. They are also a Low Carbon Heating Specialist, helping end users save energy and protect the planet. The company opened its third sustainability home centre in collaboration with Daikin in January 2025, at the James Hargreaves Huyton Plumbing Supplies branch, following on from the opening of a similar centre in Swindon, Manchester.
