Back in January, Jose Maria Ferreira, the established Portuguese ceramic company, which trades under the Jomafe brand, announced the formation of Jomafe (UK) Ltd. This move came about due to the ongoing growth of the company and shows a continued commitment to the UK market where business has been growing steadily over the years. Here, we put the spotlight on one of the key product areas of this renowned ceramic business – oven-to-tableware.

The UK operation is headed up by Paul Threse, who has been responsible for Jomafe’s UK business from the beginning, and also takes care of some other international markets. Initially, it was focused on the production and supply of own label products for customers, but both that side of the business and the Jomafe branded business has grown considerably. And, although the company has faced the same unprecedented challenges as others over the past year, Paul plans to keep that trend going with further expansion.

Much of this success is down to the fact that the company offers high quality with competitive prices and short lead times, although the pandemic caused some delivery issues these have now been resolved.
