Tormek expands design appeal of premium knife sharpening Swedish manufacturer Tormek AB used Ambiente to highlight new design developments for its Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener, aimed at design- conscious home cooks seeking professional results. The company introduced a new colourway, Swedish Red, inspired by the


traditional pigment used on Scandinavian wooden houses. The warm matte finish joins the existing palette of Carbon Black, Zinc Grey, Ash Green and Linen White, expanding the range’s visual appeal while retaining the same precision engineering and sharpening performance. Also unveiled was the Tormek T-1 Morakniv 1891 Kitchen Knife Sharpener in Linen White, developed in collaboration with Morakniv, featuring a birch handle in Morakniv’s signature red. The company also presented the MC-1 Cover by Jeansverket, produced in premium Swedish denim and finished with a leather handle, designed to protect the sharpener when not in use.
