Winner of the packaging category of the Housewares Innovation Awards 2019, the GreenPan Featherweights Dutch Oven’s packaging is in a different style from The Cookware Company’s usual concepts, in colour and format. But, the company says, ‘as with all our packaging, it gives the key messages about GreenPan and ceramic non-stick, so retailers can use it as a point of reference in- store. As well as having key information about GreenPan and the range itself, the packaging has a useful carry handle format, which encourages consumer to pick it up in-store. It is also ideal as a gift box, so works well for gifting opportunities like bridal’. Featherweights is the first cast aluminium range for GreenPan. It is described as ‘extremely lightweight (50% lighter than cast iron), so it is easy to handle, but with superior heat distribution, excellent heat retention and an innovative ‘rainfall effect’ lid. It features Thermolon Infinity Professional ceramic non-stick, meaning it’s perfect for intensive daily use and is metal utensil- safe. It is also oven- and dishwasher-safe and easy to clean’. The range is focused on three sizes of Dutch oven and a grillpan.
