Colin Goode UK Product Manager

“I’ve been with Fujitsu Air Conditioning for 5 years now and my current role as UK Product Manager is a challenging one to say the least. I have spent the best part of 45 years in the industry starting as a refrigeration apprentice with Frigidaire (a division of General Motors) in 1972 at their Stage Lane site in London NW9 and attended Willesden College under the tutelage of Ken Couch

and John Ellis (now Ellis Training). In the long hot summer of 1976 I moved to Weathermaker Equipment Ltd who were the Independent Carlyle / Carrier AC Distributor based in Wembley London where I spent the next 20 years in a variety of roles including, system application, Dealer sales, national account sales, engineering, training and product management. After leaving Carrier in 1996 I spent some time at York, IMI AC, ACDP consulting engineers and then 12 years in Air Conditioning contracting with Bluesky and Andrews AC before joining Fujitsu in 2012. During my time in the industry the equipment and industry practices have changed immensely. It is this continual cycle of change that keeps me interested and challenges my aging grey cells to keep up to date with the products I am responsible for and all the other industry issues of the day”.
