Voting opens in three categories
As all the finalists are announced, voting is now open in three categories in the 2017 HVR Awards. The industry is invited to vote for its Trainee, Customer Service Person and Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year
T
rainee of the Year, sponsored by Brymec, has two outstanding individuals in the running; Autumn Moir of A1 Expo Ltd and Lewis
Buchanan of Hargreaves Ductwork Ltd. Sponsored by Conex Bänninger, the Customer
Service Person of the Year award will go to one of four finalists; Paul Wightman of Albion Valves (UK) Ltd, Rob Nell of Baxi Heating, Sharon Louth of GroundTherm Ltd or Xohan Duran of Squires and Duran Plumbing and Heating Ltd. Brand new category Wholesaler/Distributor of
the Year, sponsored by Altecnic, will see six companies battle it out to be the first ever winner of this Award. In the running are Brymec, EOGB Energy Products, F & P Wholesale, Smith Brothers Stores and Ventexpress Limited.
Those who wish to have their say are invited to submit their choices via our online voting form, which can be found at
www.hvrawards.com/vote. Whilst the three ‘voted for’ categories will be decided in due course, this year’s highly-esteemed panel of judges has already reviewed the entries in the further six categories, the winners of which will be announced on the night. This year’s judging panel was comprised of six
prestigious industry figures; Martyn Cooper, FETA commercial manager, Ross Anderson, director of ICOM Energy Association, Wayne Terry, membership director at BESA, Tom Garrigan, BSRIA test house manager and Stephen Gill, HVACR consultant and chairman of the CIBSE-ASHRAE Group. Event organiser, Datateam Business Media, is delighted to announce the 2017 finalists. See opposite page for a complete list of the finalists. The Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by
Toshiba, will recognise an individual who has made an outstanding and sustained commitment to the industry.
