Welcome From the editor

Plenty to celebrate

our own HVR Awards event. Some topical and critical issues were addressed at the

T

BESA conference including Indoor Air Quality in London, ventilation hygiene and what needs to change following the Grenfell disaster. The BESA conference is covered in-depth in this issue of HVR on our news pages and on pages 14 and 15. It’s these critical issues which often inspire companies

to produce some innovative products, but it’s also how some of our most talented individuals emerge. In fact, it was the clear committment to address some of the most important modern-day challenges that the judges were looking for at the HVR Awards and we were very pleased to reward those who won for their efforts. The BESA conference saw the presentation of more than

20 Awards for excellence including the National Apprentice of the year. The HVR Awards also handed out accolades for some of the industry’s shining stars including the Contractor of the Year, Customer Service Person of the Year, Trainee of the Year and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Congratulations to all of them from the HVR team! All the winners are shown to the right of this page, but also turn to pg 8 for some more details from the event. • INSIDE THIS ISSUE - Commercial heating, Controls, Energy efficiency and HVR Domestic.
