conditioning and refrigeration industry, providing multiple leaning and development opportunities for visitors in each sector. The programme will run across the show’s two main seminar theatres – the HVACR Theatre sponsored by Opteon and the Training & Skills Theatre sponsored by Toshiba. The event will also feature the launch of the

2018 SkillFRIDGE competition series – offering visitors information on apprenticeships and how to build your business by investing in the future.

Exhibitor snap-shot Johnson Controls is launching an industry competition to mark the UK launch of YORK PureOil chiller lubricant at The HVAC and Refrigeration Show. All those registering on its EasyParts chiller spares website by midnight on the second day of the exhibition will be entered into a prize draw, with three premium Italian leather travel-bags up for grabs. Existing UK-based EasyParts users with active

accounts will automatically be entered, plus all those registering between now and midnight on January 24. The winners will be announced on the final afternoon of the exhibition. Product manager, Alpesh Trivedi comments:

“PureOil is an important global launch for JCI, and designed to combat sub-standard counterfeit lubricants that can damage compressors and result in expensive repairs and downtime for end users. The ExCeL show provides an excellent and timely launch pad for the official UK roll-out.” First Choice Refrigeration Spares, a division of

First Choice Group, will be at the 2018 HVAC & Refrigeration Show to display a range of its most sought after spares including coil cleaning products, controls, OEM cabinet parts, walk-in parts and refrigeration tools. “First Choice Refrigeration Spares incorporates specialist knowledge of the refrigeration trade and supplies spare parts and technical information for many of the leading brands,” explains the company’s refrigeration

The show offers a perfect opportunity to meet and talk to existing and prospective customers

The HVAC & Refrigeration Show will take place at London’s ExCeL Centre from January 23 to 25, 2018. As the UK’s only national exhibition for air conditioning, heating, ventilation, heat pumps and refrigeration – including refrigerated transport – this is a must-attend event for a wide range of sectors

development manager, Steve James. “We also assist with van stock and ancillary items

from the likes of Embraco, Danfoss, Mastercool, Testo and Draper.” The division supplies OEMs and spare parts for refrigeration equipment from all the major manufacturers in the UK, Europe and across North America. Earlier this year it shook hands on a Master Distribution agreement with Adande Refrigeration and partnerships with the likes of Husky Commercial and Jordao Cooling Systems. “We work in partnership with our suppliers and customers to provide a one-stop-shop for refrigeration engineers,” adds Steve. Based in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich, Germany, Güntner is a world leader in the manufacture of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment components. The company has a number of new products to show, including the Coil Defender, a high-quality yet reasonably priced addition to its corrosion protection portfolio and the new V-SHAPE Compact cooler and more. Multi-specialist engineering contractor ECEX is planning a powerful presence at the event. The highlight of the company’s stand will be ECEX Air Intake Screens. These long-lasting external protection filters can be retrofitted to air handling units, chillers, dry air coolers, condensers, cooling towers, air intakes and other HVAC systems. John Grenville, managing director of ECEX, says:

“We are increasingly turning our eyes to overseas markets, but the UK market remains crucially important to us and we expect the HVACR & Refrigeration Show to help us reinforce an already strong presence here. “We are exhibiting at the show because it offers a perfect opportunity for us to meet and talk to existing and prospective customers, all of whom will be under one roof at one time.” John continues: “The event will allow us

showcase an outstanding product – the ECEX Air Intake Screen – in front of thousands who will be able to see how simple, yet effective it is.” For more information and to register, visit www.hvacrshow.com
