Nuaire launches new website in landmark 60th anniversary year
I
ndoor air quality and ventilation manufacturing specialist Nuaire has unveiled a new website at
www.nuaire.co.uk designed to make it easier for customers to access product information, technical resources and expert guidance across its extensive ventilation portfolio.
Launched during Nuaire’s 60th anniversary
year, the new website combines a fresh, modern design with improved functionality, enabling consultants, contractors, developers, housing providers and facilities managers to quickly fi nd the products, information and support they need. Visitors can explore Nuaire’s market-leading residential and commercial ventilation solutions, including its popular MRXBOX MVHR range, Drimaster positive input ventilation systems, XBOXER commercial air handling units and the latest commercial and residential heat recovery technologies. One of the key features of the new website is its streamlined navigation structure, making it easier to identify the most suitable solution for a project. Product pages now provide more detailed information on features, performance, and applications, together with direct access to supporting literature and technical resources.
The launch also introduces a dedicated Knowledge Hub, bringing together product documentation, technical literature, installation guides, brochures and other resources in one central location. By providing a single destination for technical information, the new hub helps customers quickly fi nd the resources they need, saving time throughout the specifi cation, installation, and maintenance process. Jessica Cook, Nuaire strategic Marketing Director, said: “The redevelopment on the website refl ects the growing importance of digital resources within the construction and building services sectors, where specifi ers, contractors and facilities professionals increasingly rely on online information to support project decisions.

Trianco’s Activair R290 indoor heat pump – the perfect energy-effi cient solution for apartments and smaller homes
T
rianco’s new Activair R290 indoor heat pumps deliver effi cient, low- carbon heating with outputs of 3.2kW and 5kW, advanced smart controls and remote diagnostic/monitoring capability; suitable for retrofi t, new build and LA/social housing.
The Activair R290 is a revolutionary indoor air/water heat pump designed for locations where an outdoor unit is unfeasible; examples are apartments without balconies or those with limited outside space.
Developed to supply both heating and hot water, when fi tted with a domestic hot water cylinder, the Activair R290 is available as a wall mounted 3.2kw unit or a fl oor standing 5kw unit.
Ideal for small to medium-sized homes, it is a compact, complete indoor solution with all the functionality of an outdoor unit. A key benefi t is the facility for remote diagnostics and monitoring through intelligent diagnostics. On the outside, only the two vents are visible while, on the inside, the unit has similar dimensions to a domestic boiler. It can also provide air cooling where the property is fi tted with fan coils instead of radiators. Peter Beighton at Trianco, explains: “By eliminating the need for an outdoor unit, our Activair R290 Indoor Heat Pumps provide a discreet, space-saving solution that can be installed in airing cupboards, garages or loft spaces alongside a hot water cylinder. Designed for outstanding energy performance, they can help homes achieve an EPC A rating, depending on the overall system design.”

Trianco’s new Activair Pro heat pump range achieves Quiet Mark certifi cation
T
rianco’s newActivair Pro air source heat pump range has been awarded the Quiet Mark certifi cation for its 6kW, 12kW and 17kW models. Awarded by Quiet Mark, the international certifi cation programme associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society, the accreditation recognises products that have been independently assessed and proven to reduce noise without compromising performance. The certifi cation highlights Trianco’s
commitment to developing high-performance renewable heating solutions that deliver exceptional comfort while minimising noise pollution – an increasingly important consideration for homeowners, installers and developers alike.
The newly launched Activair Pro range has been engineered to provide
effi cient, reliable heating and hot water while operating at impressively low sound levels as well as some of the best SCOP performance of a R290 heat pump in the UK, making them ideal for both new-build and retrofi t applications where acoustic performance is a key requirement. Peter Beighton at Trianco, explains: “Achieving Quiet Mark certifi cation across our 6kW, 12kW and 17kW Activair Pro models is a signifi cant milestone for Trianco. Homeowners increasingly expect renewable heating systems that are not only energy effi cient but also unobtrusive in day-to-day operations. This certifi cation provides independent reassurance that our Activair Pro range delivers both outstanding performance and exceptionally quiet operation.”
As demand for heat pumps continues to grow across the UK, Quiet Mark
certifi cation gives installers and consumers additional confi dence that the Activair Pro range meets the highest standards of acoustic performance alongside its excellent energy effi ciency.

Ideal Commercial Heating heat pump helps decarbonise Grade I listed building at Ely Cathedral
A
n ECOMOD natural refrigerant air source heat pump from Ideal Commercial Heating has been installed at The Almonry Kitchen, a Grade I listed café and event space within the grounds of Ely Cathedral, helping to reduce carbon emissions while preserving the character and heritage of one of the UK’s most historically signifi cant buildings.
As part of a wider refurbishment programme designed to improve sustainability and modernise the facility, Ely Cathedral secured funding to replace the existing gas boiler serving The Almonry Kitchen. The project centred on the installation of an Ideal Commercial Heating ECOMOD 290HT 27kW monobloc air source heat pump, which now provides both heating and domestic hot water for the building. The ECOMOD 290HT was selected for its ability to deliver high fl ow temperatures of up to 75°C, making it suitable for retrofi t applications where existing heat emitters and pipework are being retained. The ECOMOD heat pump installed at The Almonry is capable of achieving a
Coeffi cient of Performance (CoP) of up to 4.94 and incorporates an inverter- controlled compressor that continuously adjusts output to match demand, helping to optimise effi ciency and minimise energy consumption. Further sustainability benefi ts are delivered through the use of natural refrigerant R290. With an ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just three, the refrigerant helps minimise the environmental impact of the system while supporting the long-term transition to lower-carbon heating technologies.
