Supplies4Heat expands its range with the introduction of two new products
upplies4Heat has expanded its product range with the addition of two new heating products, designed to offer customers even greater choice and value. The latest additions include the sleek and classic Bayford Ladder Rail, combining contemporary design with practical performance, alongside the 50mm Wren Valves.
A stylish, cost effective, and practical solution, the Bayford Ladder Rail is designed to bring both comfort and style to modern bathrooms. Providing efficient heat output in hydronic and electric (the latter of which features an optional remote control), the rail features 23mm round tubes, offering ample space for warming towels while heating the room. The Ladder Rails are available in a range of sizes, with the hydronic model manufactured in four heights and three widths, and the electric model in four heights and two widths. The ladder rail comes in white and chrome finishes to fit seamlessly into any interior style and optional hanging bars are also available in the same colour schemes.
The 50mm Wren Valves are also new to the range and are an ideal fit for towel rails, giving them a clean and symmetrical look by centralising pipe connections and concealing pipework, whilst helping to deliver consistent performance while supporting efficient water circulation and consistent performance. The valves are compatible with side-loading towel rails, including the Tallis side rail, Chaucer side rail, Hawkhurst, Dale and Holt and are available in angled or straight options in a choice of white or chrome finishes.

Over 300 industry experts attend Kooltech Roadshow
K
ooltech has concluded its City Multi YXM technical roadshows, welcoming industry professionals from the South Coast to Glasgow. The nationwide series marked the introduction of Mitsubishi Electric’s next-generation R32 VRF YXM.
With a SCOP of up to 4.71 and SEER of up to 7.89 (standard- efficiency model, size 350), and a SCOP of up to 8.81 in the high- efficiency model (size 300), the YXM represents more than a refrigerant transition; it is a complete redesign of the City Multi system.
Designed to meet the evolving demands of modern buildings, YXM delivers enhanced efficiency, simpler installation and greater application flexibility, setting a new benchmark for VRF performance. The YXM features a new box-shaped chassis that reduces its footprint, full-length heat exchanger coils and an improved defrost recovery mode. These design advancements position YXM as a leading solution for a wide range of building applications, including high-density residential developments and urban locations where space, efficiency and low sound levels are essential.
Sessions were hosted by Kooltech’s national influence manager, Sebastian Rowe, who emphasised YXM’s new features and benefits. “A key message was that YXM is not just an R32 system; it is a fundamentally new VRF solution,” said Mr Rowe. “From performance gains to installation efficiencies, it is designed to make life easier for consultants and contractors while delivering improved comfort for the end user.

Riello calls on engineers to secure final places on burner training
R
iello is calling on engineers and heating professionals to secure their place on its 2026 burner training programme, with limited availability remaining across several upcoming courses.
Delivered at Riello’s dedicated Training Centre in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, the one-day courses are designed to provide practical and technical knowledge across Riello’s residential, commercial, modulating, gas, and dual-fuel burner ranges. Sessions cover burner matching and selection, commissioning, servicing, and fault-finding, helping engineers build confidence and enhance their technical expertise in the field. Remaining availability includes Riello Gas Commercial Burner (RGC1) and Riello Gas Modulating Burner (RGM1) courses in July and September, alongside Riello Oil Commercial Burner (ROC1) courses in July and August. Additional spaces are also available on the Riello Oil Modulating Burner (ROM1) course in August and the Riello Electronic Gas Modulating Burner (REGM1) course in September.
Due to strong demand, places are filling quickly and engineers are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
Courses are priced at £210 + VAT per candidate and include lunch and refreshments. Certain advanced modules require prerequisite
courses and, where applicable, Gas Safe registration. For full course details and booking information, visit: https://www.

Diffusion’s new Ultra-Line 360 addresses exposed ceiling design challenges
D
iffusion has launched the new Ultra-Line 360 fan coil unit (patent pending), developed specifically for exposed-ceiling applications. Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Ultra-Line 360 combines the proven performance of Diffusion’s award-winning Highline Modular Fan Coil technology with a unique diffuser and integrated plenum system engineered to deliver high-performance heating and cooling while complementing contemporary architectural aesthetics.
A key feature of the Ultra-Line 360 is its use of the Coandã effect. Through
a bespoke diffuser designed and manufactured in-house by Diffusion, conditioned air remains close to the ceiling surface before gradually mixing into the occupied space. This enables air to be distributed effectively over longer distances without requiring higher airflow rates or additional energy consumption.
The result is true 360-degree air distribution, helping minimise draughts, reduce hot and cold spots and prevent cold-air dumping, while providing enhanced thermal comfort for occupants. Importantly, the Ultra-Line 360 has been designed to eliminate the need for ductwork, and separately specified diffusers, plenums and grilles. By integrating all core components into a single unit, installation is simplified, fewer trades are required on-site and coordination between different contractors can be significantly reduced. To give specifiers a closer look at the engineering technology behind the Ultra-Line 360 and its wider fan coil range, Diffusion hosts regular Open Days at its UK manufacturing facility.
