SWEGON

Swegon’s new range of smoke control dampers, Actionair SmokeCommand

dampers, are CE Marked single and multiple compartment dampers and are classified to product standard EN13501-4 and tested to EN 1366-10.

These dampers meet the strict smoke control requirements by moving to an open or closed position less than 60 seconds

after receiving an alarm and remaining open for up to 120 minutes for safe smoke extraction and increase evacuation time. They can maintain their position because they have no thermal device to cause uncontrolled operation and no automatic return mechanism.

SmokeCommand dampers play a critical role in extracting heat from a building and can complement the use of fire sprinklers in helping to manage the impact of a fire. Some dampers will be venting smoke and others closing to manage the movement of the smoke.

FERNOX

Fernox’s TF1 Sigma Filter Installer’s Pack includes the TF1 Sigma Filter with slip socket connection, the Cleaner F3 and Protector F1 500ml product.

The Fernox TF1 Sigma Filter has been engineered from a composite polymer for improved strength and reliability. It combines Hydronic Particle Separation technology with a powerful magnet to ensure debris is

captured. The filter also benefits from a sealed, lidless design. Also included in the pack is the Fernox Cleaner F3. This is a high per - formance, non-foaming chemical cleaner that can clean larger volume systems. The product starts to work after only one hour and can be left circulating in the system for up to seven days prior to flushing. Once clean, the system is ready for dosing with the industry leading Protector F1. This offers even greater pH buffering and combines three different types of active inhibitors to form a protective barrier. www.fernox.com

ELCO HEATING SOLUTIONS
