Vendex North the biggest ever T
he biggest Vendex to date was held in at the Centenary Pavillion, Leeds United Football Club, on November 6,
with 130 exhibitors filling the venue. The one-day event, showcased all the
latest solutions for the out of home and vending markets. Show director Phil Reynolds said: “Vendex
just keeps on getting bigger and bigger. We had to add more stands on the show floor and to achieve this we had to move the catering/meeting area to the marquee attached to the Centenary Pavillion. Notable trends this year included a
growing number of soft drinks/energy drinks companies exhibiting, with Phil revealing there were up to 30 new companies taking part. There were plenty of exhibitors bringing new and existing products including some well-known suppliers to the vending industry. The exhibitors are best placed to deliver

New face at the helm of Vendex
As from Dec 1, Trade Events Ltd has been taken over by Matt Derry (pictured) which will allow Vendex organisers Phil and Jenny Reynolds to take a step back after a long career in the vending sector. The Reynolds won’t be disappearing completely for the next year or two and will still be working at the events as usual. Phil said: “Matt will now be the first

point of contact and is eager to get going and get involved with everything Vendex. “These are exciting times, but there are no plans to change the format of Vendex, nor how it runs. It will continue to be a one-day, low-cost, value-for-money event that it always has been,” Phil said.
