Entries have now open for The Vendies 2025 and the event will be taking place on 4 June 2025 at the Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden, London.

hese awards will once again continue a longstanding tradition of recognising and rewarding companies and
individuals that have made exceptional contributions to the trade in the past year. We are looking forward to receiving all entries by the closing date of February 28, 2025. This year, The Vendies are very pleased to announce a number of new awards as well as the return of some of last year’s hottest categories.
New categories for suppliers include: BEST BETTER FOR YOU PRODUCT This category is open to any food or beverage product currently active in the vending sector that provides consumers with a healthier option. VENDING SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR This award will reward exceptional performance by a supplier to the vending and automated retail industry. BEST AUTOMATED RETAIL SOLUTION This award seeks to reward innovative solutions used commonly in micro markets or similar automated retail environments. BEST FOOD-TO-GO PRODUCT This category is open to entries for freshly prepared grab and go food products that are generally considered to be perishable and are available to the UK market. New categories for suppliers & operators include: EXCELLENCE IN COMMUNICATION AWARD This award is for the best communication strategy by a supplier or an operator. Entrants can describe the way in which multiple communications methods, both online and offline, are used to successfully market a product or service. COMMUNITY CHAMPION AWARD This award is open to operators and suppliers who demonstrate a clear commitment to their local community through the implementation of initiatives which could be either sustainable, environmental, community-orientated, charitable, or a combination of these. BEST NEWCOMER This award goes to a young professional, or a candidate who is new to the industry. The nominee will have had a significant and invaluable impact on their employer’s business by exceeding targets or customer recognition and will have established him or herself as an important team member. MICROMARKET COLLABORATION This award seeks to reward a collaboration in automated retail solutions such as micro markets, refreshment destinations, break out areas, self-service stations, interactive
kiosks etc. All operators, manufacturers and suppliers are invited to enter on behalf of their partners. BEST SALES PERSON This award is presented for outstanding achievements in a sales role. Your nomination can include evidence of revenue growth, customer retention numbers or growth, new accounts, success in sale of product, expansion into new areas.
