ello there and welcome to the May supplement of CIE magazine, which this month features
exclusive opinion-forming content from the shortlisted candidates of our Electronics Industry Awards 2019.
Celebrating the incredible talent within the electronics sector, the Electronics Industry Awards 2019 are a unique and one-of-a-kind opportunity to showcase the latest and greatest products, people and solutions worthy of highlighted recognition.
The awards are divided into three categories: Business, Product and Individual, in order to cover a comprehensive range of topics and sub- sections of the industry. Once entered, the nominations are judged and the scores tallied up to reveal a top five shortlist of candidates.
The winners for the Electronics Industry Awards 2019 will be announced at the awards ceremony and luncheon, which will be held on Friday 21 June at the Tower Hotel in London.
Returning for its second year, the awards have taken on a fresh format for judging the nominations. This year, the votes from the online public will be combined with the votes from our industry insider’s judging panel of electronics experts. Listening to the feedback from the inaugural awards last year, we wanted to ensure that the results were non-biased, accurate and fair rulings that considered all aspects of the entry, including presentation, relevance and commercial merit. This is why we have such a high calibre of esteemed judges to aid in identifying the top products on offer.
Winning an award, or even being shortlisted in one of the categories, can provide you and your company with many benefits, not least of all the recognition of your successes to your industry peers. It shows you are a venerated visionary of all things electrical, and a true industry insider.
