What the exhibitors told Footwear Today Magazine:
“Tamaris had a busy MODA Show, Sunday, in particular, was a great day with an early start and constant appointments through until closing time. Generally retailers were cautious, but optimistic about both the Spring/Summer season and buying forward for AW17” David Coles, T
amaris.
“This was a very successful Moda show for Skechers. We had an extremely busy few days, showcasing our innovative new A/W collection of products which had a fantastic reaction. Once again, our stand had the biggest presence at the show, which attracted both existing and new enquiries. We were thrilled to be awarded Footwear Brand of the Year for the third year in a row. The award continues to be a testament to the growing appeal of Skechers and its product to consumers across the U.K. & Ireland, who have become loyal fans of the brand.” Peter Youell, Managing Director
, Skechers UK.
We had a very good turnout from new and old customers throughout the three days, with Sunday being very pleasing. The new ‘CIPRIATA’ ladies contemporary range was extremely well received, especially the
boots with faux fur and the metallic urban glamour trainers, which were really a hit. The men’s urban membrane shoes - supplied to us by Imac, an Italian factory – received an excellent response, and our customers said were extremely good value compared to similar products in the market place. Guy Marlow, UKD.
“The show was really amazing for us by far, having written the most orders ever at the Moda show. Sunday and Monday were great, but Tuesday was really quiet
...big thanks to all the Irish customers.” David Rudd. Mustang Shoes.
“MODA was a good show for Chatham this year. It provided a great opportunity for Chatham to showcase its AW17 collection to our existing and potential customers. We are delighted to report that a good number of orders were taken and new accounts were opened. We have already signed up for MODA show in August 2017 and look forward to introducing our SS18 collection.” Phillip Marsh, Chatham.
“The Moda Show was successful for us. All clients we expected to meet at the event, visited our booth. Furthermore we got some new
clients, which wrote an order directly at the show or agreed an appointment. Overall, it was successful in building our brand awareness in this key market.” Johannes Kaestner
, bugatti.
"Moda UK was a successful show for our Paula Urban brand as more and more retailers search for truly comfortable and also stylish footwear. This season Paula Urban introduced two heel heights of "cowboy"- influenced boots and three heights of their famous wedges, giving retailers almost too much choice! Most buyers kept to commercial colour options, with just an occasional flirtation with greens and greys.” Martin Ward, Paula Urban.
Moda Footwear will return to the NEC on
6-8 August this year with a similarly strong line-up of footwear collections for the new spring season.
