Sustainability is the underlying foundation of El Naturalista’s continuous efforts to use biodegradable, recycled, and natural materials that, together, help us take better care of the environment. Our energy sources are progressively more renewable and we are integrating increasingly energy-efficient manufacturing processes.
Because 100% of our shoes are produced at our own facilities, we are able to be meticulous about how they are manufactured and keep our quality standards high to produce comfortable, long-lasting shoes. This everyday footwear is for walking through life as comfortably as possible.
We innovate to create products that take advantage of the efficiency of natural resources by incorporating recycled and sustainable materials, making sustainable design our brand’s distinctive element.

El Naturalista is committed to protecting the environment by properly managing its environmental footprint, which means we keep getting better at taking care of our planet, day in and day out.
As responsible stewards of our environment, we are constantly researching, creating, and innovating ways to make our products more sustainable and maintain high quality standards. Our Quality and Environmental Policy reaffirms our commitment to seeking out the materials and techniques that are best for nature.
We reuse or recycle leftover production materials as part of continuous new developments and projects to guarantee maximum comfort and durability in our shoes. Our latest developments have enabled us to recycle the cardboard that winds up at our company as well as reuse cork, excess microporous materials, and fishing nets recovered from the ocean. All of this recycling takes place on-site at our facilities.

Shoes inspired by nature for committed people. El Naturalista donates 2.14% of profits to socially-minded projects.
El Naturalista has contributed to many different projects that bolster early childhood education and development initiatives, with a special focus on developing countries (Haiti, Peru, Tanzania, Ethiopia, among others). El Naturalista’s goals are to foster human values and social awareness, as well as promote respect for the environment. El Naturalista believes that everyone can be an agent for social transformation
