Eagle Eye Networks Launches 4G/LTE Mobile Camera

Mobile Camera MC01 which is available immediately via its reseller partners. The MC01 is a small 4G/LTE camera for use in locations that have difficulty with standard internet access. Eagle Eye Networks is also making mobile data plans available so that channel partners can provide a complete solution to their customers. The Eagle Eye MC01 is designed specifically for remote


applications, temporary installations, or changing environments where standard Internet connectivity is not easily available. The MC01 is ideal for temporary installations. The MC01 provides direct camera to cloud connectivity, plug and play installation, advanced person detection analytics and state-of-the-art cyber security. The MC01 is a 2 Megapixel camera that records directly to the cloud, provides alerts and notifications, and can be viewed from full featured mobile apps.

he display specialist ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY has launched a multi-


faceted EA DOG product family especially designed for low-power handheld applications. They are all operated at 3.3 V as a standard and require hardly more than 150 ~ 350 µA.


The optional LED illumination is also designed for 3.3 V. The brightest white LED starts at 3 mA.The panels, which are only 2 mm thick, are currently available as text and graphic displays in 10 different sizes and five different display technologies: as transmissive, reflective or blue STN as well as positive or negative FSTN. All technologies are standard and available starting from 1 unit. The displays can be combined with six separate backlights in white, amber, blue, red, yellow/green and full colour by simply plugging them together.


Owing to the compact design, an extremely flat display module with a maximum height of 5.8 mm is obtained when combined with lighting. Without any additional mounting effort, it can be soldered directly onto the circuit board with a 2.54 mm grid. The text displays are supplied with 1*8, 2*16, 4*10 (switchable to double font height 2*10) as well as 4*16 and 4*20 characters. The graphic variants are available in the resolutions 122*32, 102*64, 160*104, 240*64 and 240*128 pixels. The outer dimensions vary between 39 x 41 and 94 x 67 mm.


All displays are equipped with a SPI interface, the text displays additionally have a 4-/8-bit interface and some displays can also be addressed via I²C. Thanks to integrated temperature compensation, the thermal application range of the displays covers temperatures from -20 to 70 °C.


As a further special feature, individual EA DOGs support English, European and Cyrillic character sets in a single display. The displays are available in large quantities as well as small quantities at short notice. ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY guarantees a long-term availability of up to 10 years.

Pins for Power-good, On-off Control, and Sequencing with programmable output rise time simplify powering-up converters simultaneously or in a pre-defined sequence. The nominal output voltage of 3.3V or 5.0V can be trimmed up or down using a single external resistor, and programmable soft-start control is also provided. Also in stock are RECOM evaluation boards for the RPM series to help customers quickly test the modules and

icrochip announces new dual- and single-core dsPIC33C Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs) with more


options to meet changing application requirements across memory, temperature and functional safety. These options will help system developers to design high-end embedded control applications which need flexible options to provide scalability as projects increase in complexity. The new dsPIC33CH512MP508 dual-core DSC enables support for applications with larger programme memory requirements. The dsPIC33CK64MP105 single-core DSC adds a cost- optimised version for applications that require smaller memory and footprint. Developers can easily scale across product lines using the new devices, which are pin-to-pin compatible within the dsPIC33CH and dsPIC33CK families. The dsPIC33CH512MP508 (MP5) family expands the recently introduced dsPIC33CH with Flash memory growing from 128 KB to 512 KB and triples the programme RAM from 24 KB to 72 KB. This enables support for larger applications with multiple software stacks or larger programme memory, such as automotive and wireless charging applications.
