CONNECTOR RANGE EXTENDS AGAIN O

DU’s flagship product, the modular ODU-MAC rectangular connector,

now has its well-established spindle- locking available in even more sizes, all meeting IP65. This highly ergonomic quick-release system provides easy locking and release, together with secure sealing, suitable for use in even the smallest of available spaces. Locking is good for at least 30,000 cycles, with even this being further extendable by replacing the spindle screw, which is easily done without dismantling the entire connector. The ODU-MAC connector system is available in three major variants, with each providing the ultimate pick‘n’mix combination of the most varied types of transfer within one connection. Whether power, signals, high-speed data, pneumatics, liquids or fibre-optics - all can be selected from the kit and integrated into an individual connector solution.

ODU-MAC SILVER-LINE This is the all-rounder for automatic docking, with six docking-frame options, each configurable in customized lengths.

A wide variety of transmission modules are available, including thirty different high-speed data-transfer options. The robust hybrid interface requires minimal maintenance, due to the high level of mechanical security and the optional quick-change head. This top-performing modular package is rounded off by its high packing density [down to 2.54mm pitch] and high vibration resistance, achieving over 100,000 mating cycles, with some customers reporting more than one million mating cycles.

ODU-MAC WHITE-LINE The perfect choice for manual mating - provides the widest variety of options together with functionality that is second-to-none. The confusion of too many connectors is now a thing of the past – thanks to the ODU-MAC White- Line that can be packaged to the specific needs of each and every application, in a multiple choice of metal and non- magnetic plastic housings, together with several locking options, such as snap-in, spindle or lever.

ODU-MAC BLUE-LINE The tool-free clip-mounted version, suitable for on-site assembly, offers efficient insertion and removal of the crimp contacts, even after the module itself has been assembled. Clipping-in of the modules is then simple and reliable thanks to the safeguard of a mechanical and two visual coding options.
