receive invitation to charity ball
Northampton’s business community is being invited to come together this March for an International Women’s Day Charity Ball at the Mercure Hotel Northampton, combining thought-provoking conversation, corporate networking and fundraising for a vital local cause. Taking place on Friday, March 6, the evening will mark
International Women’s Day under the global theme #GiveToGain, with a programme designed to celebrate female leadership while encouraging businesses to invest in positive social impact. T e event will feature an engaging panel discussion with female
founders and senior business fi gures from across the region, sharing insights on leadership, resilience and success in today’s commercial landscape. T e discussion will be followed by dinner, drinks and dancing,
off ering a relaxed but high-quality setting for corporate guests to connect, entertain clients and recognise team achievements. Funds raised during the evening will support Northamptonshire
Rape Crisis, which will be marking its 40th anniversary in 2026. T e organisation provides essential support services for women and girls across the county. Organiser Joanne MacGregor said the event is designed to
resonate with businesses and community groups that want their values to be visible as well as their success.
She added: “International Women’s Day is an opportunity for
businesses to step back and ask how they are contributing to the future they want to see. T is event is about celebrating progress, amplifying women’s voices in business, and giving back to organisations that make a real diff erence locally. It’s purposeful, it’s professional, and it’s a brilliant night out.” Corporate tables of 10 are available, off ering companies an ideal
opportunity to host clients, reward teams or demonstrate their commitment to equality and community engagement. A limited number of individual tickets will also be available. The International Women’s Day Charity Ball will run from
7.30pm to 11.45pm at the Mercure Hotel Northampton. James Simpson, manager at Mercure Hotel Northampton, said:
