Northampton Town FC
Club achieves its festive goal of supporting those facing challenging times
Northampton Town Football Club ran its annual Toy Campaign throughout December 2025, once again spread- ing festive cheer and making a meaningful diff erence across the local community during the Christmas period. T e campaign has become a valued part of the club’s
community work and continues to highlight the strong connection between the club, its supporters and local organisations. T e aim of the Toy Campaign was to bring joy and to children and families who were facing
comfort
challenging circumstances during the festive season. Running across the whole of December, the campaign invited supporters, partners and members of the wider community to donate toys that could be shared with those most in need. T e response was overwhelming, with a wide variety of toys generously donated and dropped off at the club over the course of the month. Supporters from across the community showed out-
standing generosity, reinforcing the powerful sense of togetherness that surrounds Northampton Town Football Club. T e club felt grateful and privileged to be able to host such an important initiative and to play a role in sup- porting local families at a time of year when kindness and compassion matter most.
All donated toys were carefully organised and success-
fully distributed, with the hope that they helped to make Christmas a little brighter and more special for those who received them. Toys collected through the appeal were distributed
and delivered to visit several local organisations by members of the fi rst team squad. Deliveries were made to the Northamptonshire Children’s Trust, Northampton General Hospital, Cynthia Spencer Hospice, and the United Reformed Church at Castle Hill in Northampton. T e appeal was supported by a number of the club’s
valued partners, sponsors and supporters. The club extended its sincere thanks to Snowdon Homes, AM Water Services Ltd, Persimmon Homes, Cawleys, Jackson Grundy, KCI Offi ce Solutions, Tempeo, FormFive, Country Lion, Hawsons, Smyths Toys and St Gregory’s Primary School for their generosity and continued support. Defender Nesta Guinness Walker spoke about the
importance of the campaign, saying it was ‘vital to spread cheer to those who were unfortunate to be in hospital at that time of year’. He added that although December was a busy period for the team, and club, with a lot of games, Christmas was an important time for family and community, and it was rewarding to be able to make visits like those. “It has been a real community eff ort and that is what
Northampton Town is about,” added midfi elder Tyrese Fornah. “It
is about giving back and supporting the
community and you can tell by how many presents we have dropped off how keen people are to support the community. Northampton Town Football Club has extended its thanks to everyone who contributed to the campaign.
