Kingsley Roofi ng & Solar Constantly

raising standards in roofi ng expertise

Learning any skill or trade takes time at the beginning – but the reality is that companies that want to continue to impress need to be continually ready to upskill and retrain their teams and adopt new practices and ideas. Kingsley Roofing and Solar, based in Northampton,

has built a reputation for quality and excellence, always exploring new products and techniques to help clients get the best results. Modern methods are not just designed to keep buildings in good repair and fully functioning, but to help meet sustainability targets as they do so. Such an approach involves ongoing learning, with

the Kingsley Roofi ng & Solar team regularly undertaking training courses on site and in the classroom to become profi cient in innovative processes that open up a whole new range of opportunities for clients. Managing Director Paul Bone said: “While all our team

are fully trained and specialists in what they do, in this job you never stop learning. We’re always interested in new

ideas or products that come to market and when we fi nd something that works, we have to make sure everyone is fully up to speed in how to do a good job for the client. “Technology changes all the time – over the past year or

so we’ve learned a lot about green roofs, which have strong environmental impact, and the installation of solar panels and the high-tech control systems that work alongside them, as well as techniques like liquid roofi ng. “Training is a major part of what we do because we

know it’s the best way to stay ahead of the game.” Kingsley Roofi ng was founded by Paul ten years ago and

specialises in installing, replacing and maintaining roofi ng systems for a variety of commercial premises. T e majority of its projects are roofs for commercial new builds and complete roof repairs, lead work, fl at roofs and pitched, and the team also off ers fascia and guttering services. Nearly fi ve years ago, Paul and fellow Director Dale

Dexeter combined their skills to add solar panel installation, a natural fi t with the roofi ng skills, to the company’s portfolio and the fi rm is fully MCS (Microgeneration Certifi cation Scheme) accredited, so all work, on both the roof and the solar installation, comes with a warranty.
