The Honorable John F. McAuliffe ’55 passed away at home surrounded by his family on Oct. 25, 2024. John is survived by his stepmother, Claudia McAuliffe, and his children, John and Mary.


The Honorable Albert Stallone ’58 passed away on June 29, 2024. He is survived by his children Rocky, Susan, Sandy and Marty.


1960s


Dominic Amadio ’68 passed away on March 16, 2024. He is survived by his daughters Virginia and Caroline.


Francis Owen McDermott ’60 passed away on Nov. 19, 2024.


Gary Newtson ’60 passed away on Sept. 20, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, and his daughters Judith and Elizabeth.


Robert Bernstein ’62 passed away on Sept. 22, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Myrna; his daughters, Sharon and Bobbi; one stepson, Diet; and his grandchildren, Jack, Sammy, Kai, Serena, Corey, April and John.


Jerry Emrich ’64 passed away on April 8, 2024. He met his wife, Lilienne Johnson, while working as a courtroom clerk for the U.S. District Court of Washington, D.C. He is survived by his two daughters, Leith and Mandi, and three grandchildren, Luke, Jerry, and Samantha.


William H Perry ’66 passed away on Dec. 3, 2024. He is survived by his sister Rebecca.


Roger Goldman ’69 passed away on July 1, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Fern, and their children Jodi, Cindi, Jake and Ben.


John Barr ’69 passed away on Sept. 29, 2024. He is survived by his children Josh, Tracy and Erin.


The Honorable Andrew Sonner ’63 passed away on Oct. 13, 2024. Judge Sonner is survived by his six children and his companion, Kathy Parker. He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra.


Throughout his career, Sonner served on various county, state, and national committees and councils supporting criminal sentencing policies, pre-trial release and juvenile justice. He received numerous honors and awards, authored reports for government agencies and nonprofit organizations, and wrote articles in professional journals.


In his formal retirement, he served as a substitute judge and published a professional memoir. He was an active member of the National District Attorney’s Association, as well as the Montgomery County, Maryland, and American Bar Associations. He did not fully retire until age 87.


Kenneth Bailey ’69 passed away on Oct. 27, 2024, aſter a 38-year career as a criminal prosecutor. He is survived by his wife, Margarita, and his children, Clifford, Daniel and Bailey.

Stephen Rappoport ’74 passed away on May 13, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Ella, and children Jonathan, Adam and Lauren.
