Region Student Trial Advocacy Competition. Right (leſt to right): Tim Streit, Olivia Kaempf ’25 and Paige Carter seured second place in the Clara Barton IHL Competition.
• Clara Barton International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Competition: Paige Carter, Olivia Kaempf, and Tim Streit secured second place, with Kaempf named Best Oral Advocate. The team also competed in the Jean-Pictet IHL Competition in Indonesia.
• International Academy of Dispute Resolution (INADR) International Law School Mediation Tournament: Tesa Hargis, Ethan McSweeny, and Rebekah Shields earned second place overall in both the Mediator and Client/Advocate categories.
• William & Mary and Fordham Negotiation Competitions: AUWCL teams advanced to the semifinals, with individual honors for Jake Helfant, Katie Charlebois and Yonah Wasik at Fordham.
With championship titles, individual awards, and advancement to global rounds, AUWCL students continue to set the bar high, proving that they don’t just compete — they lead. Congratulations to all the students, alumni and coaches for representing AUWCL with skill, determination and pride.
