Cycles Recycled, a community interest company withtheaim of getting more people cycling more often, recently opened the doors to its new show­ room and training venue.


Based at Unit 1 North Street, Clitheroe, it offers services with community inclusion and sustainability in mind. The company never let a


bike go to waste and take in any unwanted bike. Donated bikes are repaired or disman­ tled and their components giv­ en new nse uses be it as a bike seat bar stool or as a table mat made of inner tubes! InconjunctionwithLanca-

more prominent in the area, and Cycles Recycled are also involved in the upcoming Rib- ble Valley Cycle Festival from June 5th to 14th. They are co­ ordinating a traffic-free family fun ride on Saturday June 6th, 12 to 3 pm, at Four Lane Ends, Pendle Road; a pedal-powered music festival on Friday June 12th, 6 to 9 pm, at Clitheroe Castle Bandstand; and their new pop-up velodrome, “VE- LODROAM” is at Roefield car park, Edisford Road, on Satur­ day June 13th, 12 ^ 3 pm.
