What qualifications do you need? In this line of work it’s important to have good literacy, numeracy and especially communication skills. Each day I speak with various people from all positions within a business so you need to know how to speak to them on their level.

My job is all about finding work for budding I apprentices, so it’s crucial to have a good understanding of employment law too.
Any other requirements for example health and fitness or age? I’d say that there are no particular age limits or fitness requirements a s such but I believe that if you are fit and healthy it gives you added motivation for your next challenge. This job requires a certain amount of travel, so to work in this field you would need a driving licence.
How long does It take to qualify for the role? This very much depends on the individual, how quickly they learn and how eager they are to : succeed. I’d say that prior experience and sales training
are a must but I like to live by the mantra 'everyday is a school day’ because I am , always learning and absorbing information.
.What sort of starting salary and package can you expect? You should expect anything from £18,000 to £25,000. Other benefits such as Government • pensions are also a draw. " -

is necessary. Flexible and organised people will be best suited to a career in sales, as will effective communicators and those who can multi-task. You should be able to deal with people over the phone and face-to-face and be a good listener to understand and meet customer’s needs.
What kind of Job satisfaction can you expect from a career?

I enjoy working with apprentices and use a lot of encouragement to motivate them and make them believe in themselves. Knowing you have made a difference in somebody's life is very powerful and a successful solution is worth all the hard work. This is why I love my job. ,
