amazing year with yet more- trophie s arid; praise after performing at Blackpool Tower. The squad from the Clitheroe

semi-finals in their age category; Jordan McTear, Eve Whaling, Eliza Ferris, Ellie Clayton, Morgan Pickup, and Emily Docherty (all aged 11). Caroline Dewhurst and Ellauise Dickinson (both 12) also reached the semis. In the same age group, Nina Telford won the final, with Megan Dickinson in fifth place and Kate Hopkins seventh. Meanwhile, Leah Ormerod (13) was placed fourth and Toyah Clifton (15) was fifth.

A GROUP of talented young musicians’will gather at Clitheroe Parish Church this Saturday (November 19th) to perform a range of solo items. This is the third year


running that Music at St Mary’s has organised this friendly, informal concert, which gives local youngsters an opportunity to show off their musical skills.


There are two pianists


taking part, and the other instrumentalists and vocalists will be accompanied on the piano by Janet Ismail and Bill Ashton. The morning starts


with coffee at 11 a.m. and the concert at 11-30 a.m. S p e c t a t o r s a r e


welcome. It is a free event, although there is a collection in aid of the St Mary’s Spire Fund.
