NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of tne Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily any pedestri an from proceeding over Public Footpath No. 9, Pendleton, Ribble Valley Borough, as indicated below:-
That part of Public Footpath No. 9, Pendleton, Ribble Valley Borough, from a point at its junction with Public Footpath_No.1, Little Mitton, Ribble Valley Borough, at GR SD 7301 3949, and running in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 402 metres to GR SD 7340 3940, at its junction with Public Footpa No. 24 Pendleton, Ribble Valley Borough near Highei Standen Farm.
An alternative route is available using existing high ways.
The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public.
The Order will be operative from the 26th November 2007 for a period of six months.
