" A timely telling off from these two teachers

TWO pupils got a telling off from these young teachers as roles were reversed in aid of Children In Need at St Peters Primary School in Simonstonc. (B161107/4)

COWBOYS and Indians took over the kinder garten department of a Valley nursery school

on Friday. The tots at Moorland Nursery School were

helping raise money for the BBC’s Children in

Need appeal. As well as dressing up the kindergarten chil

dren also sold cakes, while staff in the nursery

department took part in a sponsored fast, and their young charges completed a sponsored

walk. A raffle added to the total and hopes are high

that more than £500 will be raised. Our photograph shows children in their fancy

dress costumes. (B161107/2)

Z a c dye-ing for a change

TEENAGER Zac Mather was dye-ing to do something differ ent for Children in Need. The 17-year-old pupil of

Clitheroe Royal Grammar Sixth Form raised £250 after changing his hair colour to chocolate brown and platinum blonde. Said Zac: “I would like to

thank Emma and all the staff at Genesis hair salon in Clitheroe, for their time and co operation. I would also like to say a big thank you to all those who have sponsored me.” Zac is pictured showing off

the final result of his hair-rais ing fund-raiser, (s)

Tasty treats raise £76

Shoppers are urged to: • shop around by using price

comparison sites and multiple search engines.

• when comparing prices,

shoppers also need to be clear that the price on offer is not all that matters. Indeed, we would always counsel caution if a deal really does seem to be too good

to be true. “Shoppers should also take

into account additional charges, including delivery, whether there are any warranties or insurances included, and the reputation of the company they are purchasing their product from. They need to be confident
