Parade The Remembrance parade at Hurst Green was a very moving occasion on Sunday morning with more than 300 people in atten dance. The service was led by the two parish priests, the Rev. Gill Mack, of St John's Church and Fr Adrian How ell, of St Peter's Church. Members of the Royal British Legion were joined by the Stonyhurst Combined Cadet Force to parade,
accompanied by music from the Stonyhurst College band. Pupils from St Joseph's RC Pri mary School took part, as did those from St Mary's Hall and Scouts from Ribchester. Wreaths were laid by repre sentatives of village o r g a n i s a t i o n s including a Poppy posy laid by Jonathan Whalley, the oldest pupil at St Joseph's.

Bishop’s visit The Bishop of Sal ford, the Rt Rev. Terence Brain, will make his first visit to .Sabden next week. The Bishop will take 10-30 a.m. Mass a t St Mary’s RC Church on Sun day.
