FORTY Clitheroe Ramblers set off from Long Preston on their eight-mile Tuesday walk in glorious sunshine with clear views. Along Scalehaw Lane, where


the group was informed about the private water supply which Long Preston is lucky to have from a nearby s tream, th e y eventually reached Langber Lane and on to Crake Moor, where lunch was taken. From there the route took


them over rough country, with outstanding views, to Orms
