That part of Public Footpath No. 12 Clitheroe, from a point at its junction with Worston Road, at Grid Ref SD 7527 4042, in a general south easterly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 5 Pendleton at Grid Ref SD 7527 4041. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle or cycle from proceeding over that length of Neps Lane, Paythorne, from its junction with A682 Settle Road, for a distance of 300 metres in a north-westerly direction, in the Borouqh of Ribble Valley.


An alternative route for vehicular traffic and cyclists affected by the closure is via: -


Settle Road - Hellifield Road - Settle Lane - Kiln Lane and vice versa.


Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained at all times.


The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed.
