CHESTER Cathedral wel comed a heavenly host of angels at the launch of this year’s Royal Mail Christmas stamps. The festive stamps feature

colourful and musical angels. Italian illustrator Marco

Ventura created four designs for the stamps in a Renais sance art style, each showing an angel playing a musical instrument in a snowy coun tryside scene. There are six

stamps in the set, with the First Class and Second Class stamps available in two sizes to reflect the Letter and Large Letter rates. Additional First and Second

Class stamps showing images of the Madonna and Child are also available. Ju l ie t ta Edgar, Head of

Special Stamps, Royal Mail, said: “Every yearcustomers and collectors look forward to

30%off everything

our Christmas stamps, which have been brighten ing up the festive season for more than 40 years. “This year we

will print more th an 200 million First Class Christ mas stamps alone, while millions more of these charming images on the high er value stamps will be seen on cards and gifts sent around the globe.”

the TRA, comments: "This year's Dream Dozen once again demonstrates the versa tility of the toy industry. The technological advancements used in many of the toys we reviewed this year were quite amazing, and demonstrate how forward-thinking manu facturers can be. “Responding to the ever-
