Provision of Mechanical Road Sweepers (Dual Sweep with Wander Hose) with Drivers
Tenders are invited for the provision of a mechanical road sweeper with driver for 52 weeks p er year and 40 hours p er week, M o n da y to Friday (excluding English bank holidays) servicing th e whole o f the Ribble Valley. Also the provision of out-of-hours emergency response (within 40 minutes).
Further additional seasonal hire of two mechanical road sweepers with drivers for a period o f between 14 and 20 weeks starting O c to b er for leaf clearance work and 2 weeks in Spring.
T h e two year contract will start on the 1st April 2008 and will run until 31st March 2010 with the option to extend fo r extra periods of up to 2 years to a maximum total contract period o f 4 years.
