CHRISTIAN AID'S main campaign this year was "Cut the Carbon." In the Ribble Valley we continue to do our bit and it is a big bit. Several members of the local committee have been actively raising money for Christ­ ian Aid for over 40 years! This year, thanks to these and many other


committed local people, we have raised over £14,000. A Christian Aid coffee morning is to be held in the Ribble Valley Town Hall on Saturday, from 10 a.m.

A COLOURFUL dance show featuring boys and girls from the age of three to 18 is being performed by the Angela West- well School of Dance in St Mary's Centre, Church Street. The show takes place tomorrow, Satur­


day and Sunday at 7 p.m. with a matinee on Saturday at 2 p.m. Dancers in the show entitled “Kaleidoscope 07” will perform ballet, jazz, tap dancing and singing. During each performance a raffle will


take place with proceeds going to the chil­ dren's ward at Royal Blackburn Hospital and a donation to the North West Haemophilia Society which helps organ­ ise events for families whose sons are affected with the blood disorder.
