Gift day Sunday is the Patronal Festival at All Saints' Church, Pendleton. Once again the church is holding its gift day, when parishioners
are asked to make donations to help with the workings of the church.
The priest-in-charge, the Rev. Chris Ster- ry, will be in church following the service on Sunday until 1- 30 p.m. to receive gifts. Anyone unable to visit then can send donations by post or deliver them to the vicarage at The Sands, Whalley. Last year the g ift day was well-sup ported, nearly rais ing a magnificent £4,000.
