Window box is stolen


POLICE believe the same people may have been responsible for two plant thefts in Waddington last week. A four-foot conifer in a ceramic pot and val­

£6,000 caravan taken


A CARAVAN worth £6,000 has been stolen from a storage site in Langho. The white Lunar Premier model, nine years


old, has a brown stripe and was parked on the site off Northcote Road, Langho. The theft took place some time during the fortnight up to Saturday. Police are investigating.


Thieves steal wallet


PROPERTY including a digital camera and a wallet was stolen from a property in Skeleron Lane, Rimington, some time during Thursday. Entry was gained through a conservatory and the total value of the haul was £760. Police are investigating.


Youth hostel break-in


A CASHBOX containing £80 has been stolen from the youth hostel at Slaidburn. A thief allegedly used a knife to open a win­


dow, described as insecure, in order to enter the building.


Accused of assault CLITHEROE man Mark Andrew Proctor (18), of Lime Street, was remanded on bail until January 28th by Blackburn magistrates after pleading not guilty to assaulting Roseanne Hollis.
