Black Hawk Down (Sky Movies Premier, 9.00pm) Sir Ridley Scott is one of the most tal­ ented directors to come out of Britan. Since 1977 he has produced consistently excellent movies. Black Hawk Down is one of two films he made in 2001 (Hannibal being the other), it depicts the real-life events that saw US sol­ diers sent to kidnap the lieutenants of a ruling warlord to quell the 1993 Somalian Civil War.
