A minister's tale At the first meeting of
the year for Whalley Methodist Church Ladies' Evening Fellowship, the speaker was the Rev. Chris Cheeseman. He spoke about his work with young people, from his early days in the London area, to more recent times with the homeless in Burnley. He compared the activities of the '60s and '70s with work done today, and stressed the need for the Church to continually update its provision for young people.
