WHAT’S ON IN YOUR COUNT Y

CAN YOU SOLVE THE MYSTERY? Something's going bump in the night! Agents Dali & Kahlo of top-secret global creative agency Company of International Artists, receive a code red call which means only one thing: ART IN PERIL!

They're going to need the sharpest agents to crack this case. Will you join the team?

You'll travel to Villa Diodati on the banks of Lake Geneva, where you will work against the clock as you chase leads, decipher clues and interview suspects. What's your theory, agents? Can it all be explained logically or is it, just maybe, a little bit supernatural? Does the old caretaker know more than he's letting on?

CHILDREN’S PUPPET SHOW

Once upon a time there were three little pigs…and now it is time for them to leave home.

80

They set off to build their dream houses in the green field on the other side of the river. But then these homes are put to the test by a misunderstood wolf who has a little bit of a problem. And who is the grumpy person who lives under the bridge?

The Three Billy Pigs is the new show from Noisy Oyster for children of 3 years and over. The show blends two classic fairy tales The Three Little Pigs and The Three Billy Goats Gruff with beautifully crafted puppets, light hearted storytelling, live music and a little bit of eco-awareness in a pig stylie.

It’s on Friday, October 28. For tickets visit courtyard.org.uk

NOSTALGIC DRAMA

Joe has always been a nerd. In his teens, he hid it. In his twenties, he owned it. Now in his thirties, Joe is still obsessed with Nintendo, Star Wars and A Muppets Christmas Carol.

But he’s started to notice something about the way certain fans are behaving - something unsettling. When Joe finds himself alone, in his old room, sorting through his old things, he finds an old video tape, long forgotten. He dusts off the VCR, presses play…and something strange starts to happen!

Fanboy is a love-hate letter to pop culture and nostalgia, exploring our relationship to our past and future selves and asks why we so obsessed with childhood.

Combining epic storytelling, razor-sharp impressions and a dose of theatrical magic, Fanboy comes to the Everyman Studio in Cheltenham following its world premiere at Edinburgh Festival Fringe!

See it on October 6 and 7. For tickets visit everymantheatre.org.uk

COMEDY AND CRIME CAPERS The men who broke the bank and lost the cargo are back!

A brand new, hilarious adaptation of the classic Ealing Comedy The Lavender Hill Mob will be opening in Cheltenham prior to a national tour! Come and see one of the ‘greatest British films of all time’ (BFI) brought to life on stage by Olivier-nominated playwright Phil Porter, directed by Tony and Olivier-nominated Jeremy Sams and starring acclaimed comic actors Miles Jupp and Justin Edwards.

This side-splittingly funny, fast-paced comedy tells the story of Henry Holland, dreams of stealing the van full of gold bullion he drives across London each day. When Henry learns that his new lodger makes Eiffel Tower paperweights out of lead, he devises a plan to make his dream a reality. It’s a golden opportunity to pull off the crime of the century, they’d have to be fools to mess it up …

It’s at the Everyman from October 13 – 22. For tickets visit everymantheatre.org.uk
