Welcome to the July edition of Live 24-Seven magazine. What a marvellous month June was with all the fabulous Jubilee celebrations. The Palace certainly knows how to throw a good party! Hopefully the inclement weather didn’t spoil your own events – I know our own garden party on the Sunday was hastily re-arranged to be indoors when the rain came down but plenty of cakes were still enjoyed and of course the special Queen’s pudding.
We are now fully into the summer months and holidays and for those with children this means days out too. If you are planning to get away, take a look at our travel feature this month. Post pandemic it appears we are all looking for different things from our trips away and this month we showcase ‘dopamine’ travel hotspots – wonderful, colourful destinations that guarantee to make you feel good.

And what about a family trip to the cinema? Top Gun: Maverick is this summer’s must-see film and our celebrity interview this month is with none other than international superstar Tom Cruise. His passion for this film is all too apparent and the flying scenes sound incredible.
July is the month the summer fruit and veg really start to come into their own and this month we fea- ture some rather delicious sounding dishes using Isle of Wight tomatoes with not a bowl of soup in sight. Perfect, refreshing seasonal fare.
