‘STYLE FOR’ JULY THE BALEARICS - IBIZA SPECIAL A
The beautiful island has such a magical aura about it. Ibiza has certainly shifted into very high end glamour with the whole celebrity scene – everyone who’s anyone is seen diving off a yacht here during the summer. The hotels are bigger and more lavish than ever before and the bars and restaurants are certainly not for the faint hearted. There are still elements of the old rustic Ibiza but there is so much money on the island now, it’s hard to avoid the influences from Las Vegas and the South of France.
Starting with these two stunning numbers by 'Sand People' who never fail to please. Their dresses always have stunning embellished detail for that luxury feel and finesse. Amanda loves to accessorise and would wear these with layered bracelets and a chunky necklace. Dress Fresh Pastel or Pink, £180

It’s holiday time and as I am off to Ibiza next month with friends (an island close to my heart from my younger days) I felt it to be the perfect choice to make a look at Ibiza fashion in this month’s ‘Style For’ fashion special. It is a place even closer to my fashion sister and friend Amanda O’ Riordan who I am excited to announce will be featuring in future features of ‘Style For’. Myself, as a former dancer, and Amanda, not only as a famed fashion blogger but known for her hit single ‘It’s my turn’ and as wife of the UK’s greatest DJ Judge Jules, will be writing a joint column.
Amanda O Riordan is Fashion Blogger and other half of ‘Fashion- sistas’ with co-editor Julia Suzuki. Before moving into blogging and vlogging Amanda directed fashion shoots around the world – which is she met Judge Jules, a former Radio One DJ.
So this month I look at hippy themed, bo-ho dresses and a bikini choice all inspired by Amanda’s personal stunning dress style.
In Ibiza there are live bands, decorated streets, food stalls. Everyone dresses up and parades around San Antonio and the West End so colourful and free spirited attire is essential. Flower power with music from the 60s and 70s makes it all summer. Ibiza and great fashion do go hand in hand. It’s all about the grungy rock chick or the boho beach babe.
