LEXUS UNVEILS THE ALL-NEW LEXUS RX


Lexus has revealed the fifth generation of its flagship hybrid SUV; New Lexus RX.

Joining New Lexus NX and recently revealed All-New Lexus RZ to open the ‘Next Chapter’ of the Lexus brand, New Lexus RX builds on two decades of success, with more than 3.5 million cars sold worldwide, to provide a completely reinvented vehicle whilst maintaining the signature DNA that makes this model such a hit across Europe and the rest of the world.


Striking design language remains a prominent highlight for Lexus models, and New Lexus RX is no exception. Most noticeably, a new ‘spindle body’ design integrates the familiar spindle grille concept into the entire front of the vehicle for a powerful and contemporary look. Move around the sweeping side silhouette to the rear and a striking rear light bar is the centre of attention, providing further elegance to its exterior design.


Inside, the ‘Tazuna’ cockpit is focused on giving the driver direct, intuitive control of the vehicle, following the principal of ‘hands


on the wheel, eyes on the road’. It also improves the driving experience with its clean layout and new 14-inch touchscreen.


Three electrified variants will be available in the UK. The core model is New Lexus RX 450h+, featuring plug-in hybrid electric technology. As an entry point for the range, an efficient New Lexus RX 350h model provides a hybrid alternative to smaller diesel and petrol powertrains. And if it’s even more of an exhilarating drive you’re after, range-topping New Lexus RX 500h introduces a turbocharged hybrid engine which features DIRECT4 drive force control for optimal grip and performance on the road.


New Lexus NX has already proved an excellent success since its launch, signifying an exciting ‘Next Chapter’ for the Lexus brand, with New Lexus RX expected for launch in 2023.
