FX AWARDS – they’re almost here! July is deadline time for your projects, and we are back celebrating in black-tie style at the Grosvenor House Hotel with all the bells and whistles. And it’s not just us who will be dressing up. We’re loving working on the stage with its theatre sets and the colour, lighting,
animation and graphics that goes in to making it the world class event that it has become. It’s all stacking up to be the best comeback since the late and great David Bowie dropped ‘Where are we now?’ a decade after he retired in 2003. It’s so good to be back celebrating with you after 3 long years!
Te heady summer ahead could all be about bars and leisure pursuits that you have recently designed, together with a great feature on ‘Reviving Ruins’ and how buildings and interiors have been transformed for new requirements of living in, or out of, style. Another great thing to celebrate on revitalising and repurposing
interiors has been your offices and showrooms. It’s heartening, heart-warming and invigorating to see such dynamic and interesting spaces created from New York to Clerkenwell. Emerging from a pandemic and seeing the investment and optimism from both architects and key suppliers has cheered us all up! Tat’s probably too much celebration for one issue – but have
I mentioned our magnificent judges for your awards too? You can see them online so you can understand why FX can’t wait to receive your entries this month and celebrate with you in person at the party! Check it all out at
fxdesignawards.co.uk. See you there, or see you sooner!
