StorageGives Makes A Difference Several years ago, Lonnie Bickford, owner of Appletree Stor- age facilities in Louisiana and founder of StorageAuctions. com, created StorageGives to support eight charitable orga- nizations. Through
StorageAuctions.com, owner-operators can help support his altruistic efforts, as revenue from the auction business fuels this charitable initiative. For every unit sold on
StorageAuctions.com, the company provides five meals to a child in need, at no cost to the self-storage owner-operator. However,
StorageAuctions.com users can also commit funds from their auction proceeds, from five percent to 100 percent. Additionally, direct donations can be made as a company or an individual, any time for any amount. StorageGives is 100 per- cent not-for-profit and all donations go directly to the following eight organizations:
• Autism Speaks Inc. • Free Wheelchair Mission • Homes for Our Troops • Mission Feeding • Susan G. Komen for the Cure • RescueLife • Shriners Hospitals for Children • Water for Life
