Tenant Inc. Creates API Tenant Inc. has created an application programming interface (API) between its Hummingbird property-management software and the call-center services provided by XPS Solutions. The API, which is powered through Nectar, Tenant Inc.’s proprietary glob- al-distribution system, will create a “centralized rental ecosys- tem” that allows XPS agents to handle customer calls on behalf of self-storage operators using Hummingbird. The integration al- lows XPS agents to see the facility operator’s inventory, pricing, and discounts, as well as property-protection and tenant-insur- ance plans, so they can guide customers through the unit-rental process. They can also take customer payments, set up autopay, and leave notes in tenant accounts for site managers.
