scene to assist and all four officers ran into the burning building. Using excellent teamwork, they methodically started to evacuate the building, while providing reassurance to the panicked occupants.

The officers were meticulous in their actions, making a record of the flats they could not get a response from, to assist the London Fire Brigade on their arrival. PC Thompson and PC Watson also managed to identify the flat that was on fire and provided this information to the London Fire Brigade.

Once the residents were evacuated the officers continued their efforts to identify if any of the residents needed medical assistance from the London Ambulance Service. They crosschecked the residents with the record of the flats they had not been able to get a response from to ensure the information being provided to the partnership agencies at the scene was as accurate as possible. They also assisted them in supporting the significant number of displaced residents at the scene. Fortunately, no fatalities were recorded, and the fire was successfully and quickly extinguished.

a male and female standing next to his vehicle appearing to be having an argument and that a sound like a gun shot was heard. After midnight police were called again as the same suspect had returned to search for and recover the live rounds of ammunition and the spent casing after a firearm was discharged. arrived at the scene and approached the individual and attempted to speak to him - asking him to take his hands out of his pockets.

The man then pulled out a bottle and sprayed the officer in the face with ammonia before moving towards him. Despite only being able to see out of one eye, the officer managed to use his PAVA spray which caused the suspect to turn around and flee. The pair chased the individual then he suddenly pulled out a handgun from his waistband and pointed it toward the officers before escaping on foot. An investigation was launched, and detectives spent hours collating and trawling through CCTV, leading them to identifying their suspect. He was located and arrested by officers on 24 June 2022. During a search of the individuals home address, the firearm the man used to threaten officers, and fired prior to police arrival, was recovered along with rounds of ammunition and the bottle containing the liquid.
