Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong SAR, the city has triumphed as Best Business City in Asia. Major projects are under way to further improve transport connectivity, from the expansion of several MTR lines to the nearly complete Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the Guangzhou- Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link. Major airport upgrades have also been initiated, with work due to commence shortly on a third runway and additional infrastructure.

Why I voted NOVEMBER 2017 GRAND HYATT
Thirteen is unlucky for some… but not Grand Hyatt, as it takes home the award for Best Business Hotel Brand in the World for the 13th year. Meanwhile, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong also celebrated winning the Best Business Hotel in Asia-Pacific award for the first time. The brand is expanding rapidly: last year saw the opening of Grand Hyatt Chengdu (the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Sichuan province) followed by the Grand Hyatt Changsha this summer.

Shangri-La stands the test of time, winning Best Business Hotel Brand in Asia- Pacific for 16 consecutive years. Recently opened hotels include Shangri-La’s Hambantota Resort & Spa in Sri Lanka, a second property in Harbin and the Shangri-La Hotel, Yiwu. The group also launched a new F&B loyalty programme to complement its Golden Circle scheme, rewarding members who dine and drink at Shangri-La properties around the world.
