CATHAY PACIFIC
The Hong Kong-based airline defended all three of its titles from last year: Best Premium Economy Class, Best Frequent Flyer Programme and Best Airport Lounge in Asia-Pacific. Despite battling financial loss, Cathay Pacific is aggressively expanding its global network. Next year the airline will launch routes to Brussels, Dublin and Copenhagen, while increasing frequencies to Barcelona, Tel Aviv and Fukuoka.

rollout of Lufthansa’s A350, which features an upgraded business class as well as a completely new economy class design. The A350 now flies from Munich to Delhi, Boston, Mumbai and Hong Kong. Singapore will also be added to the list in March 2018.

The Chinese national carrier triumphed for the tenth consecutive year, winning the award for Best China Airline again. The carrier strengthened its fleet last year with
the introduction of the brand-new Dreamliner B787-9, and has also been improving its network. In June it launched flights to Kazakhstan, while a new Beijing to Brisbane service is due to take off next month.
