Nautical Research Journal NOTICE TO MEMBERS WHO MOVE

Because of the high costs incurred by the Nautical Research Guild to replace Journals not delivered due to address changes that have not been reported to us, the NRG will no longer off er free replacement of Journals in such situations. Members who have not received an is- sue due to an address change not reported to the NRG can request a replacement at the current replacement cost. This applies to seasonal and temporary moves as well as permanent moves. The USPS does not routinely forward magazines unless they are sent 1st Class. It is the member‘s responsibility to notify us 30 days prior to posting the next issue so that your Journal can be delivered without interruption.

NOTICE ON REPLACEMENT COPIES – OUTSIDE USA

It is now the policy of the NRG to NOT replace Journals lost in the mail to members outside of the US who have not paid for 1st class postage. The poor mail delivery systems in some other countries make replacement of lost issues cost prohibitive due to high international postage costs. We off er and recommend the option of 1st Class mailing to members with unreliable mail service. Members outside the US can request a replacement at the current replacement cost, which will be sent by 1st Class mail.
