Painting a waterline – mask only one time By Kurt Van Dahm
Follow the sequence of photographs to see a way to paint a waterline with only having to mask carefully a single time. Once the waterline tape is in place all subsequent masking steps are done over the waterline tape. 2. Spray the waterline color wider than the finished waterline.
1. Mark the waterline on the hull.
3. Remark the waterline and apply tape the width of the waterline.
4. Burnish the waterline tape down to the hull – make a really tight seal.
